Come se non fosse un fulmine

the choice of the Righteous men

A show about JUSTICE. Where “justice” does not always mean “legality”. Human beings have a moral compass that does not
never makes a mistake. They know what is right and what is not. And pursuing the “right” means making precise choices, and ACT, make a decision, decide, sever. Say the right NO. Sometimes, even the right YES. History offers us hundreds of examples of the Righteous: ordinary people who have made important decisions and with their actions have saved even just one other human being from genocide, persecution, war, hunger, humiliation. They rebelled against the mafia, they guarded art, hid people, helped migrants, welcomed refugees in every part of the world, in every historical period. Against the law, against the “rules”. Because rules and conventions don’t always mean justice.

Our show talks about TEN righteous people, of different nations, of different eras and conflicts. We will see them in the crucial moment of their life: the moment of choice: “do I continue my life peacefully, turning away, or do I decide to act?”.
For us, who believe in a single form of theater and art, URGENT THEATER, it is urgent to remind everyone that individual choice has an enormous weight in the construction of the common future.
