MDP plays Deep Purple

MDP plays Deep Purple

In the winter of 2003, from the ashes of Overage, a Milanese band active in the early 90s, the “MERCI di PASSAGGIO” project was born, with 2
ex Overage members and 3 other musicians. The individual experiences of all the members of the band contribute to defining it from the beginning
the sound of MdP, rearranging some songs written by GIO’ OCCHIPINTI (Athena, Overage). STEVE SKOROVIC (Physis Prime, Skull
Face), with a passion for Prog, brings those specific sounds into the sound, while ENZO FERRARO (Playstars, Overage) together with
drummer FLAVIO “Flax” GHISI (Bloody Skizz, Old Flame), more linked to traditional Hard Rock, create that sound carpet that allows
guitar and keyboards to best express their versatility. FEDERICO FERRARO is the right singer for this particular type of sound
projected towards Hard, but with the use of Italian texts.

Furthermore, MdP, for pure fun, pick up some songs from Deep Purple, a key group for the background of all the band members, to the point that, by inserting more and more PURPLE songs into the setlist, they find themselves becoming a tribute, with the public
perennially an “active” part of each song. Not sharing the same enthusiasm for the change of direction taken, in 2013 FEDERICO FERRARO was definitively replaced by ANDREA DELSIGNORE, who interpreted each song with a unique energy and with whom the feeling was perfect from the beginning. This creates the “magic” that leads MdP plays Deep Purple to receive acclaim from all the audiences who have a special place in their hearts for Deep Purple.

In this regard, the band decides to expand its live performance by adding songs from the “Purple family”, and more precisely from
Rainbow, Gillan and Whitesnake, bands formed by former members of Deep Purple.
