ARTIST PRESENTAZION
Girolamo Valente, aka “Mimmo Valente”, was born in Turin on 01/14/1972; son of art who, at the age of 5, began his classical piano studies with Maestro Leonardi in Milan, then with Maestro Iannone until he received his Diploma with Maestro Pierluigi Shirt with a 10/10 vote at the Conservatory Niccolo ‘Piccinni of Bari. He continues his concert activity distinguishing himself in the various seminars with M ° Gregorio Goffredo.
Simultaneously with his piano studies, he opened up new horizons by starting the study of Sax with the masters Paolo Tomelleri, Emanuele Cisi, Claudio Allifranchini, Michael Rosen and more recently with Max Pizio, performing in various situations and collecting innumerable successes.
Work experiences
Thanks to his great preparation and musical knowledge he manages to work in various formations: Trio, Quartetto, Quintetto and Big Band, both in Jazz and in Pop, both as a soloist and in the horn section. He has numerous Live collaborations behind him with professional musicians such as Marco Bianchi, Maxx Furian, Attilio Zanchi, Marco Ricci, Pino Bifano, Claudio Allifranchini, Flaviano Cuffari, Stefano Re, Giorgio Di Tullio, Aida Cooper, Angela Baggi, Irene Antonazzo, Paolo Diotti , Enzo Frassi, Graziano Demurtas, Marco Brioschi, Fabio Balestrieri, Tonino De Sensi, Luca Scanzani, Paolo Tomelleri, Lele Boria and many others of Jazz, Pop and Light music.
Currently he performs in various musical situations collaborating with the greatest professional musicians in the sector and at the same time as arranger and teacher of Piano and Sax. He also collaborates constantly with Giorgio Di Tullio, great drummer.
