On October 23, the video for “Pietre”, the latest single by the Italian singer-songwriter Lucia Lombardo, was released.

Lucia Lombardo is a singer-songwriter from Carugate, in the province of Milan. At 16 he left his home with a guitar in hand and headed to Bologna. There he meets Renzo Fantini, famous manager, responsible for Paolo Conte and Francesco Guccini’s productions and collaborations with Lucio Dalla, Pierangelo Bertoli and Vinicio Capossela.
From the meeting with Fantini, in 2007, when Lucia was only 22 years old, the album “Il passo dei lupi” was born on the L’Alternativa S.r.l.

Ellade Bandini (drums), Pierluigi Mingotti (bass), Jimmy Villotti (electric guitar), Ares Tavolazzi (bass) and Antonio Marangolo (sax) are part of the project.
A decidedly high and well cared for work emerges, despite Lucia’s young age. The tracks on the disc are imbued with compositional maturity and each single stands out for its particular characteristics and differs from the others. All this is accompanied by an excellent guitar technique and a great variety of stories and narratives that relate to both personal experience and general themes.
A piece of great social attention, which recalls the problem of the death penalty is “Dead man walks”, inspired by “Dead Man Walking”). Other themes dealt with in the track on the album are human dignity, prostitution and Sapphic love.
A few years later, she was presented at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome by Vincenzo Mollica where she played accompanied by Avion Travel.
Subsequently, for personal life choices, he travels for a while in Europe and eventually settles in Paris.
There, thanks to the infinite contaminations of which the city is a container and the encounters with numerous genre musicians and with different musical styles, Lucia comes into contact with new sounds and musical styles.
In 2019, under Bagana Records, he returns to the scene with “Schiavi” and “Non Dimenticarmi Mai”, two musically modern and current singles. They are songs of love and denunciation through the eyes of a mother and a woman.
